In spring 2013 I did a shoot for Paul Huber and Devin Pacholik, the editors of Business Regina magazine. Over a couple of drinks with Paul, we decided that we wanted to give the session a sophisticated quasi-Mad Men vibe. I booked a small room at Crave Kitchen and relied largely on the afternoon light coming through the sole window in the room. The building used to be a tony businessman's club, and I hoped some of the atmosphere would leak through into the images. But mostly it worked because Paul remembered to wear a suit.
Most of the images were taken with my 90mm (equivalent) lens. For the wider shots I used my 50mm, but I was itching for a genuine wide angle lens that could have captured the two in a frame and shown off the room to better advantage.
